What does it mean to care something or someone? Would you do almost anything to make sure what you care about is safe? I the book that I'm finishing "Wizards First rule" by Terry Goodkind is packed with the meaning of care.
Like in all the movies, shows, books we read, there are those moments of care. Whether the characters group hug, or fight off something much bigger than themselves, forms of showing care vary. Why do they do this? Is it to develop the characters and make the piece that much better or is it a deeper meaning for us? Richard Cypher, the main character of the book tries his hardest to keep Kahlan, a confessor, safe. He has been suffering and going through torture for her because he has been captured by a dangerous witch sent by Rahl, a evil wizard. Throughout the whole journey, Richard never seemed to leave Kahlan's side. I think books, movies, shows, whatever thing that has a message to it, when they show care, they want to teach the readers that not only sharing is caring. I never actually seen this care in real life, in the outside world. Sure my family gives love abd care to me and thats because they're my family. They are staying and living with me for a long period of time. What about friends or the people all around you on the streets. Do they care about you? In the book, Richard met Kahlan when she was walking and Richard saw that she was being stalked and helped her. Even though she was a stranger and by helping her, who knows what could have happened to him, he still helped her. I think its good to show care to anyone. You could open the door for them or tell them their shoes are untied and sometimes, even though its no where near what people in the imaginary and made up world do for each other, its still a sign of care because it shows that anyone and everyone should care for each other.
To care for something or someone is show how passionate you are about it and that it has meaning to you. It is something you want to cherrish and maybe want to have it forever with you. Its to show a sign of kindness. Though in a lot of situations we are not able to show amazing care for something, but even those small things we do for each other show care and care is a much more developed and greater meaning than you think.
i liked how you gave an example from the book and then you defined it in your words
